Job Description

We are recruiting for a Production Engineer to become part of a multi-talented team at a state of the art and well backed manufacturing site in New Milton, Hampshire. In this role you'll fundamentally be involved in providing tooling and support for production activities on site.

This role will pay from £36000 up to £39000 depending upon experience, will offer autonomy, backed fully by a supportive Senior Production Engineer and Operations team at a site of almost 90 employees. The site are growing and part of a highly successful global manufacturer. What does the role involve?

This company make mechanical products that serve a variety of industries. You will be accountable for the design and manufacture of tooling to support current and NPI.

As well as the manufacture of prototypes you'll also be able to get involved with planning, BOM's, tooling drawings and have plenty of involvement with the manufacture or modification of tooling as necessary.

Sounds great, so what do I need?

As a role working closely with the tool maker this is a CNC centric Production Engineering role, so a machining / CNC background is vital

CAD experience - this company use Autodesk Inventor, yet other similar CAD software will transfer

Several years into your career already - you may have completed your machining apprentice and be a few years into your career now

Strong communication skills, as a small team it is important you are a confident, clear and strong communicator with good written and verbal English skill
