Job Description

Production Operative

As a Production Operative, you will be working for a world leader manufacturing company based in Hamble, Southampton. Your working week will consist of 4 days followed by 4 days off before returning to the site and continuing your development with ongoing training to kick start your career within the industry! Working on the day shift you will be working 07:00-19:00.

This company are renowned for their good treatment of staff. You will have support from all employees within the production area to help grow your current skill set, whilst gaining new skills along the way.

For the first 12 weeks, your supervisor will conduct training, shaping you into a skilled operator with real opportunities to develop within the company. Once you are fully trained you will receive an hourly rate of £11.31!

No experience is necessary as full training is given, however, if you have had exposure to a production environment then that will be a bonus!

General production duties after full training are as followed:

  • Machine operation
  • Quality inspection
  • Picking/packing
  • Production line work
  • Working in a clean room environment
  • Keep quality standards high for audits
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

The job will require high attention to detail alongside excellent methodical working practices to help ship production out the door!

Your working day will be exciting yet busy meaning it will fly by. A good work ethic, common sense, positive attitude and strong attention to detail will help you secure this great opportunity.
