Job Description

Have you accumulated production planning experience ideally within an engineering environment? Working closely and supporting the Master Production Scheduler this is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing operation supplying prestige markets! As a Planner you'll be involved with MRP action messages balancing the supply and demand and being on point with escalating any risks. Naturally you'll ensure that there is effective capacity planning and you'll work well and closely with production.

As part of a small team you will be able to lead Production Scheduling meetings and really get involved, suggest improvements and together with the master scheduler take their planning to the next level of intelligence.

This company have a machine workshop and assemble and test on site before despatch. They also have subcontractors working for them so you'll also raise job cards and routings for these external sub contracted processes.

What Do I Need?

  • Knowledge of MRP
  • At least a couple of years planning and scheduling experience
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Someone who will challenge current operations
  • Ideally be experienced working within an engineering/manufacturing/production environment.
