You will need to have experience in Production / Manufacturing environment ideally within a mechanical engineering or mechanical manufacturing environment - any industry that is highly regulated would be of interest.The company uses SAP so you must have experience using MRP systems, SAP knowledge would be a bonus!
Salary / Benefits

The salary would range from £28000 to £34000 per annum depending on the level of experience and suitability for the role, plus a good range of benefits including flexi hours shopping discount schemes, 25 days' holiday, contributory pension scheme, free parking, staff showers, cycle to work /car share scheme, childcare vouchers, excellent career prospects. They are based in Fareham/Southampton and are close to the motorway.
What will you be doing?
- You will be controlling the work load / capacities to create an efficient flow of work
- Planning materials and resources to meet customer requirements and ensuring inventory levels are maintained in line with company objectives.
- Achieve shipping dates
- Release works orders in accordance with schedule requirements
- Investigate in time delivery issues
- Create viable plans according to available materials and capacity, updating as needed
- Work closely with purchasing to relay impacts on the supply chain, help to manage inventory levels
- Look at root cause and offer corrective actions
