Production Scheduler - Aerospace/Aviation Industry - Mechanical Engineering - £30000 to £38000 per annum
We are looking for someone who is energetic, driven and wants a role where they will not only be noticed but be supported and given the chance to make their mark. This can be a fast-paced role so would suit engineers who thrive in that type of environment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist who may have worked their way up into a more senior role where they are involved in scheduling work for a machine shop.
- Main day to day role would be:
- loading work off MRP suggestions
- managing day to day operations related to scheduling processes
- creating works orders
- printing drawings
- assembling job packs
- using MRP to look at forward loading
- Ordering and receiving material, scheduling material requirements, Creating structures & routings,

Please contact me for salary but we are looking at early to mid-thirties as a ball park figure for salary but this would vary depending on your level of experience, suitability to the role and industry experience. What are they looking for?
You would be able to utilise your experience in a mechanical led engineering environment to schedule works orders and forward plan orders. We are looking for someone who has an NVQ level 3 or higher in a Mechanical Engineering subject.
Your knowledge of MRP would be essential in this role as would your advanced planning and scheduling skills
As well as MRP applicants of course need to good with Microsoft Word & Excel and any knowledge of Microsoft Project would be desirable.
This would suit someone who has experience in the day to day functionality of an Engineering factory environment and is knowledgeable in manufacturing materials processes.
