We are recruiting a Production Team Leader to join an expanding engineering company based in Portsmouth.
What will I be doing?
Working under your own initiative you will be accountable for the day to day supervision of skilled, semi-skilled, and manual employees in the Milling Department to maximise efficiency and on time delivery and ensure that quality is of the highest standard. Using your past experience in CNC Milling, you will advise on all aspects of engineering, working methods, CADCAM, programming, setting machining and tool making as well as guide and train others to maximise production output.
What do I need?
Naturally, you will need solid experience and knowledge of setting and operating CNC milling machines as well as CADCAM offline programming. As a leader, you will need either proven experience in a supervisory position, or simply the skills required to lead and influence others whilst prioritising workload to adapt in a changing environment. You will need hands-on experience of using all types of traditional metrology measuring equipment plus experience working in an ISO9001:2015 quality environment.
