Job Description

Do you have proven success in Project Management accumulated within a manufacturing set up? This company subcontract out their manufacturing, yet they design, assemble, test and install their equipment in projects valuing from 25k up to £5 million!

Based in Hampshire near to Winchester, and being well backed financially, this role is purely a growth position as the company are looking to expand by 40% within the next year by taking on multiple Project Managers, Project Engineers and Mechanical Design Engineering professionals.

As a Project Manager they can offer you up to £45,000 plus circa £5000 car allowance, there will be travel now and again across the breadth of England visiting sites where projects are installed. Benefits such as a good pension contribution of 6% employer, private healthcare, Flexible Working times, 25 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidays on top and an extra day of leave per year in relation to length of service, relocation package, Cycle2work etc etc and good career progression!

What will I be doing?

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of the projects on time in full, typically overseeing 2/3 projects of varying length and value. You'll be the main point of contact for the customer, develop a good rapport, work very closely with engineering and design, procurement, quality assurance and also their sub contracted manufacturing.

So what do I need?

  • At least 5 years' experience working to high industry engineering standards in a Project Management centric role.
  • Experience with, Contracts, Procurement, Programme (project schedules), Project Reporting, project finance & cost control, client & supplier relationships.
  • Engineering certification, ideally a from of mechanical education.
  • Be from a mechanical or electro mechanical background
  • Able to communicate well cross functionally, personable and presentable traits are required.
