Job Description

Paying from £45000 up to £50000 this is permanent role, working 38 hours a week Monday to Friday.

In this role you'll be gradually introduced to multiple projects of varying value and complexity, some simple orders lasting only a few months to more strategic projects with a 1-2 year lifecycle to initiate, develop, and qualify, before handing over to production for 20+ years' worth of business!!

You'll typically work on aerospace projects for the aircraft that fly above our heads day to day and some nuclear projects that involve the expansion of nuclear power generation ramping up considerably in the years to come within the UK. As a Project Manager you will create schedules, evaluate risks, maintain project documentation and crucially ensure internal teams are communicating well and customers are thoroughly updated with progress at all stages.

This site has around 200 professionals within. The products they make vary, the components are all machined to tight precision tolerances, are assembled and fabricated, tested and distributed out globally. You will play a critical role within the team, you will be well recognised and have fantastic interaction with department leads and the senior leadership team on site.

What do I need?

• A form of Project Management accreditation, i.e APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent
• An understanding of waterfall model methodology
• A background within Engineering
• Great dynamic communication skills to interact well internally/externally
• Current eligibility to work in the UK
