R&D Project Manager/Coordinator - Fareham
We have a role in Fareham for a manufacturer who are leaders in their field with products distributed globally, they mainly operate within the industrial refrigeration sector so anyone from that background or HVAC would be of particular interest, but any Engineering background could be transferable.
You would be responsible for co-ordinating a range of product development projects through to manufacturing product introduction. Some projects will also require complete management in parallel with R&D projects as well as assisting in the project management of strategic manufacturing improvement projects.
Aside from an interesting role, you would be joining a stable and growing company, specialist training, free parking, half day on Fridays, 25-days holiday, Christmas shutdown, friendly/flexible working environment. Salary is circa £30000 to £34000 per annum with the view to earn managers' bonus.

You would need to be confident maintaining and monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours and ensuring project managers are recording costs and hours according to templates. Other aspects of your role would include:
- Following up on work plans and output decisions from meetings.
- Project management administrative support.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks.
- Maintain overall project calendar, ensuring objectives are being met.
- Communicate overall progress to reporting structure.
- Manage cross functional stakeholder expectations and ensure they are reflected within the projects.
We are keen to speak to people with a degree in Engineering and experience coordinating multiple projects in a critical delivery environment along with experience of coordinating schedules and ensuring delivery on plan. Someone with an Engineering background and experience of new product introduction (NPI) within a manufacturing environment would be ideal.
There would be some occasional international travel with the role so you'll need to have a passport and be able to travel.
