Job Description

Are you a Quality Inspector looking for your next role? Experienced in visual and aesthetic inspection? Competent in handling documentation and liaising across departments? If so, this job may well be just right for you!

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to work with us for a client in Havant in their glass department to assist in ensuring that all finished products are scratch, blemish and chip free. As a Quality Engineer, your job would be to ascertain the root of the damages and put in place measurements to minimise damage to the product.

The Role

As stated above, your main role would be to ensure the visual and aesthetic elements of the glass inspection, using your engineering mindset to find the root cause of any damage or faults. This will of course involve liaising across departments, developing strong working relationships with the assembly and inspection departments, and using your engineering abilities to rectify the damaging processes. This role would also see you ensuring all documentation and certificates are in order; these glass parts are installed in boats all over the world, and must conform to various ISOs to ensure their strength and quality is seaworthy.
