In this mechanical/electrical product orientated quality role you will communicate frequently with internal departments, champion problem solving and corrective actions whilst working closely with other QE's at other sites nationally and around the globe, solving problems and learning together. As a Quality Engineer you'll also get involved with auditing internally and ultimately ensuring all is compliant and continuously improving. The site is large, has a machine shop and also injection moulding machines, the products are varied yet serve well regulated industries!
So what do I need?
- This is a mechanically biased role, so having relating experience in mechanical quality inspection is required, i.e well familiar with typical measuring tools.
- Understand Engineering Drawings
- A form of Mechanical Engineering certification, apprentice or ONC or HNC etc at least
- Great problem solving experience, i.e identifying root cause, and correct actions required.
- Applicants must have full working rights for the UK / EU. ITAR restrictions may apply (can discuss upon application)
- Formal auditing training would be advantageous
