Quality Engineer - Havant
Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking for a new permanent position with an exciting company? Do you want to work in the Marine Industry?
If you are a Quality professional with a background in high end quality engineering with drive, motivation and understanding of Quality tools and processes then this could be the perfect role for you.
We're looking for driven Quality professionals with a background in engineering / mechanical manufacturing with a good understanding of Quality tools and processes. For this particular role, you will need to have experience of hands on inspection of components and a basic understanding of quality auditing techniques.
It would be great if you have a degree or HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline however relevant experience will most certainly be considered in lieu of qualifications.
This would suit someone who has an understanding of product reliability concepts and tool sets, a knowledge of gauging and basic understanding of product material properties with a knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / six Sigma concepts, and root cause and corrective action.
To have an understanding of problem solving methods-i.e. Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and associated statistical tools, you will most likely have worked in a quality role for at around 3 years or more.
The Package The salary is circa £27,000 and they offer excellent career potential. Benefits include 20 days holiday, Free Parking. You will be reporting to a dynamic, supportive and driven Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be a strong communicator who would be able to use their own initiative to undertake tasks proactively.
