We have an exciting position for an already established Inspector to join the engineering division of our client who is a highly regarded within the manufacturing industry in the New Milton area.
This is a permanent position and a great opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their inspection career with the prospect of progression. Also training in CMM and Auditing can be provided for the right candidate.

What about the role?
Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer; you will be working in a fast-paced environment, full of energy and drive to make a difference and succeed. There is potential for the right person to progress their career, learn CMM and Auditing.
As the Inspector, you will be responsible for the conformity of product throughout the building process and at final inspection. You will need to identify trends in conformity issues, whilst assisting the Senior Quality Engineer in improving the culture towards quality control through the organisations.
You will be taking responsibility for the dimensional inspections of both sub-contracted and in-house manufactured parts, assembled in accordance with associated technical specifications.
What do I need?
You will have experience in:
- A engineering environment
- Self-inspection of plastic components
- The use of engineering drawings
- Inspection using hand measuring tools
- Sound Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
Essentially you will have:
- Experience in manual measurement techniques
- Exposure to continuous improvement
- Adequate command of the English language - both written and spoken
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional process improvement teams.
The salary is circa £26,000 - £28,000 with the offer of excellent career potential.
