Quality Inspector - Permanent
Segensworth / Fareham
£29,500 up to £31,500 plus overtime (around 12 hours a week) paid at x1.5 hourly rate - Early shift or days - no shift allowance.
Do you have experience inspecting CNC machined parts or are already an Inspector keen for a new challenge?
We're looking for a Quality Inspector to join a company that manufacture precision machined components which are assembled into mechanical products. They will offer you benefits including up to 11% pension contributions, 5 weeks holiday, discounts at supermarkets/cinemas and free parking - working 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
What about the Role?
You will be working closely alongside the CNC teams being involved with precision inspection.
You will get involved with the dimensional inspections of both sub-contracted and in-house manufactured parts in the machine shop, working off Engineering drawings. You'll use various hand measuring Equipment, CMM's and Optical Machines and be keen to collaborate accordingly in the resolution of issues and relay findings accordingly to the Senior Inspector in the machine shop.
So what do I need?
- Experience inspecting components, ideally of CNC machined parts.
- Understanding Engineering Drawings
- Great communication skills are a must!
- A problem solving nature, always wanting to find the best solution!
- Ambition, drive, a genuine team player
- CMM experience advantageous, but training will be given.
