Job Description

Quality Manager position combined with an opportunity to learn Project Management within a global leading manufacturer!

Based in Havant near to Portsmouth and paying up to £45000 this is a rare role indeed! Primarily you will be taking charge quality at the Havant site, and moving forwards learn project management systems across two dynamics site in Havant and in Chelmsford.

As their Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring processes align with company strategy and meet the stringent requirements of ISO 9001 and other accreditations. Your expertise and leadership will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction while driving overall organizational performance.

Key Deliverables:

🌟 Quality Implementation: Implement robust quality and project management controls to ensure our operations meet and exceed industry standards.

🌟 Root Cause Analysis: Analyse quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement using tools like 8D.

🌟 Supplier Audits and internal audits: Conduct audits for manufacturing and projects, ensuring adherence to our quality standards.

🌟 Project Oversight: Review and report on new and existing projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation, thorough documentation, and timely delivery within project scopes.

🌟 Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), collaborate with stakeholders to set parameters, and provide comprehensive performance reports.

🌟 Safety Oversight: Oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities within the team and conduct necessary audits to maintain a safe work environment.

What do I need?

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Quality experience within engineering or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong desire to expand knowledge beyond quality management and learn about other engineering operations within our business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Some project management experience within engineering/manufacturing (advantageous).
  • Ideal: 🌟 Diploma in Quality Management.
