Job Description

Being based in the Wrexham Industrial Estate, we are seeking a Quality Manager, to lead and develop a team of 2 and continue to drive processes and efficiencies forwards. This role will tackle escalated quality issues, ensuring compliance to industry standards and as a manager you'll ensure strong internal and external relationships are maintained and continually strengthened. There is opportunity to improve the fundamentals of the system and really help continue to evolve the company's quality department and operations moving forwards.
The role will report into the sites General Manager and your reports will be a QA Administrator and a Quality Coordinator. They conform to ISO9001 and there could be movement towards obtaining ISO13485 down the line. A fair bit of the processes right now are manual so there is opportunity to automate moving forwards and improve validation, you can be the architect of a lot of development moving forwards.
What do I need?
Experience of Quality within ideally a high volume environment, multi-disciplined manufacturing and 5+ years in a senior role focused on quality management, QC and continuous improvement, it would be a bonus if you had a scientific or engineering degree.
As a professional they seek a candidate with proven leadership, strategic and strong communication skills. Manufacturing experience is an absolute must and having worked within a quality discipline you'll be experienced with problem solving methodologies.
