Tell me more:

Reporting to and taking day to day direction from the Technical Director as well as taking strategic direction from the Board. Working closely with all Technical Departments and the wider business to achieve Engineering Research, Design, Development, Test and Validation (R&D) KPIs, objectives and wider business goals. Responsible for R&D output, performance and the day-to-day management of the team. Be aware of Company objectives, targets and measurements and assist in the delivery of those targets. Ensure that all R&D work undertaken by the department is managed efficiently and in support of sales, marketing, customer and strategic demand, whilst always maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality.

Monday- Friday working hours, Paying upto £60,000 DOE, 25 days holiday plus BH, Pension contribution.

What do you need?

• People managament skills
• Experience working with ISO9001
• Experience with CAD/Solidworks
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Desirable pneumatics and hydraulics experience
• Desirable programming skills
