Regional Claims Manager - £35-50,000
Do you have a background in the motor insurance industry? Are you a manager with proven experience in leading a large number of staff members with multiple lines of direct report? If so, this role may be for you!
We are currently recruiting for a Regional Claims Manager to lead several existing teams at a well-known insurance company. This position will be based in Chelmsford. Working on a 9-5 Monday - Friday shift, you will need to have in-depth knowledge of motor insurance and experience of leading 50+ employees with 5+ lines of direct report.
What you will be doing -
You will be managing multiple teams in various locations across the South East, driving delivery of targets and objectives through your team leaders. You will be able to maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, while also identifying weaknesses and implementing improvements in the claims control processes, ensuring SLAs are adhered to. Your responsibilities will include measuring and driving productivity across your teams, guaranteeing all employees are managed according to Company policies, and supporting QA and QC programmes.
You will need a proven record in driving operational performance, along with strong people skills and the ability to deal with difficult issues in the most beneficial way for the business. You will need good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, along with a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. An understanding of the main principles of laws relating to all relevant jurisdictions is preferred, along with strong report writing ability.
