Registered Care Manager Children's Home

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced registered manager to work for an inspiring, therapeutic organisation with children's growth, support, and well-being at the heart of everything they do. This is a deeply rewarding role helping children affected by trauma and emotional, behavioural difficulties rebuild their lives, gain confidence, and develop their social skills through activities and education, whilst having fun.

Utilise your solid leadership, management experience and communication skills in a children's home situated in the garden of England in beautiful Kent. Play a vital role, within the house structure of this well-respected organisation managing and monitoring assessments, policies, and procedures. Using your experience as a manager you will be supporting, and directing a team of residential care workers and developing and nurturing relationships with young people whilst providing a safe, caring environment. Able to remain calm in challenging situations with strong de-scalation skills you will lead by example. Warm and approachable, a champion of equality and diversity you will be role model for your staff team and the children within your care.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years working with children and adolescents in a residential setting.

Great knowledge of up to date childcare policies and procedures and experience/understanding of Ofsted

Level 5 qualification in Management

Valid, clean driving Licence

Experience of managing challenging behaviour and EBD whilst leading and supporting a team
