A 6 bedded childrens home for children with EBD and challenging behaviour based in the Horley and Redhill area is currently looking for a permanent manager to join the existing team and provide a strong basis of leadership and direction.
You will be working for a well established organisation that specialises in the care of children who have been placed in care for a variety of different reasons. Managing a staff team of support workers and also seniors and a deputy manager.
Your role will involve a wide range of duties, both practical and administrative, plus a large amount of delegation and supporting staff to ensure a low turnover and an excellent level of service to the children and young people.
You will be required to have previous experience in a similar management role working with looked after children in a residential setting. Plus you must have excellent working knowledge of OFSTED and other regulatory bodies involved in the childrens services setting.
