Due to high demand, we are recruiting experienced Registered Nurses who are looking for their next exciting, flexible and rewarding job opportunity supporting residents inside Nursing Homes located in Brighton.
You will be working inside outstanding Nursing Homes that promise a welcoming environment for both residents and their staff, each home is incredibly unique and has a team of dedicated staff on hand to welcome you on shift and support you. You will play an important role in providing care, support and companionship to elderly residents who may suffer from Dementia, Mobility Problems, Sensory Impairments and other health conditions.

Typical duties will include providing care to residents based on their care plans, monitoring and recording observations for residents whilst maintaining the staff logbook. You will assist with medication rounds, perform routine procedures such as blood pressure measurements and assist with personal care tasks. Whilst on the shift you will be expected dependant on your shift time to support residents with their morning or evening routines, participate in daily activities that might be planned for the residents and provide companionship at all times whilst promoting independence. You will attend handover meetings, complete light admin tasks and additional duties which might be given by management whilst on shift.

You will be able to use your previous experience as an RGN to remain resilient, patient and empathetic in all circumstances as well as be confident, fast-thinking and motivated at all times.
To be considered for this role, you must have a valid UK PIN number and proof of up-to-date RCN membership for indemnity insurance purposes.
A minimum of six months paid experience within the care sector is required to be considered for the position.
The ability to drive is not essential for this position.
