We are looking for a repairs technician to join a client of ours specialising in the Aerospace industry. The ideal individual will come from a background where they've worked on mechanical and electrical units previously, working to engineering drawings and demonstrating a strong understanding of engineering repairs work covering the ability to be able to strip, build, fault find and test the mechanical and electrical units.
What will I be doing?
This job will see you stripping, building, testing, and diagnosing mechanical, electrical and pump units. You'll be working closely with all types of engineers and engineering teams to be able to work to strict deadlines, improving the quality, cost, and delivery of the projects. This role will need you to be able to work well within a team environment but with the ability to manage your own workload.
What do I need?
- Previous experience completing repairs work across mechanical and electrical units.
- Understanding of engineering drawings/specifications.
- Ability to assemble, build, test, and fault diagnosis mechanical and electrical units.
- The ability to work closely in a team and support all individuals of the team.
- IT efficiency, able to create data collection reports and sheets.
The Package: This role is paying up to £30,000 p/a. Further benefits are 25 days holiday, early finish on Friday's, company investment into training and education, life assurance, salary sacrifice and much more.
