- Competitive Salary: Starting salary is £26,970.40, with the potential to increase to £29,606.80 if you meet the necessary qualifications and experience.
- Work-Life Balance: The position averages 42 hours per week, with employees expected to undertake an average of seven sleep-ins every four weeks.

We are recruiting for a permanent Childcare worker for a leading provider of children's therapeutic services, dedicated to promoting the safety, emotional well-being, and development of the children in our care. We are currently seeking a dedicated Residential Child Care Worker to join our team.
Why You Should Apply:
- Meaningful Impact: You'll play a crucial role in guiding young people towards a positive future. Our children have all experienced trauma, and they need someone reliable, compassionate, and positive to support them.
- Varied Workday: No two days are the same. One day, you might be enjoying a nature walk with the children, while the next you could be helping them with their homework or supporting them through their daily challenges.
- Professional Growth: If you hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or higher, you may qualify for a Senior Residential Child Care Worker role, which comes with an increased salary. And if you don't already have the Level 3 Diploma, don't worry-the company will cover the cost of your studies and help guide you to achieve this qualification.
Role Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License: This role requires you to have a valid UK driving license, as you may need to transport children or travel between different locations as part of your duties.
- Flexibility: This role requires a flexible shift pattern. You may start work at 10 AM and finish at 10:30 PM, or you might have a sleep-in shift, starting at 10 AM and finishing at 10:30 AM the next day. Shifts cover all seven days of the week, so candidates must have no restrictions on working hours.
- Resilience: You'll need to respond effectively to the emotional demands of the role and be capable of handling complex and challenging behaviour while ensuring the safety and well-being of the children.
- No Experience Required: While previous experience in social care or education is preferred, it's not essential. What matters most is your dedication to the role and your ability to provide a stable, nurturing environment.
