School for boys aged 9-17 based in Seaford is recruiting for residential support workers to join their existing team in a residential school for boys with EBD and challenging behaviour.
The school focuses on positive learning outcomes and providing the boys with adequate activity provision and stimulus for them to learn and flourish in a positive environment.
Your job role involves a high level of 1-1 communication and to work as part of a team to ensure that the young people are safe. Plus you will be expected to take part in activities both educational and fun!
The school comes well equipped with a gym, sports fields and also their own canteen. Bacon Sandwiches twice a week!
You will be joining a very well established team, Spencer (Head of Care) prides himself on being approachable and open with staff. He sees the care and development of the boys as a team effort. YOU will be an important part of the operations.
The job role comes with excellent training and development oppourtunities and the oppourtunity to work towards the NVQ 3 qualification.
Your job role will involve term time only working hours and sun - fri hours with every friday and saturday night off as the children go home on a friday afternoon. Then working every other sunday from 3pm.
Experience in a residential childrens worker role is essential or experience working with children in any type of setting.
