Job Description

Have you accumulated Resource planning experience ideally within an engineering environment? Working closely and supporting the Master Production Scheduler this is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing operation supplying global markets! Based near Fareham, this role is paying up to £35000 as well as fantastic benefits, read on to learn more!

As a Resource Planner, you'll create the production schedule through MRP suggestions, looking at material availability and production capacity, balancing supply and demand. You'll be able to foresee risks, create work orders, assemble job packs and get involved with routings whilst maintaining precise BOM's using Syspro.

This company have a fantastic machine workshop and assemble and test everything on site before despatch. The planning department have recently upgraded their ERP, the systems in place now are specifically geared up to optimise efficiency, this really is an excellent time to join their planning division!

As an integral part of the team you will also be able to lead Production Scheduling meetings, suggest improvements and together with the master scheduler continue to take planning to the next level of intelligence!

What Do I Need?

  • At least 3 years resource planning and scheduling experience
  • Knowledge of MRP
  • A problem solving attitude, a real desire and ethos to continually look to improve
  • Someone who will challenge current operations
  • Ideally be experienced working within an engineering/manufacturing/production environment.
