Sales Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to work for an organisation that is rapidly expanding based in Southampton. This role will be to support the Office Manager and Sales team to follow customer orders from beginning to end.

The office is based within walking distance of a train station so you do not have to have a driving license.

You will require the following skills and experience:

  • Experience with an MRP system (they currently use Navision)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office including Excel
  • Import and Export knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • A team player with a high level of dedication and a passion for your company
  • Well organised as on occasion lone work will be necessary
  • Good telephone and customer service skills

Your main duties -

Your role will involve you carrying out Market research for the company, proactively contacting customers to develop sales strategies before following up with a quote. You will create order processes and process new sales leads whilst updating the product list. The role will include picking and packing of the orders as well as maintaining stock records and replenishing when needed followed by shipping and monthly reporting. You will be responsible for tender website checking and submission of documentation as well as assisting with Exhibition support and managing the correspondence between the sales team and their clients. All of your work will need to be uploaded onto the MRP system (Navision) throughout the process, which will need to be accurate (this is where the attention to detail comes in!) You will also add new items, update the prices, create new customers and order stock.

Hours are:

Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5pm
