The role is offering flexible working hours, Monday to Friday. The role is also paying a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience. Due to security purposes, you must be a British Citizen to be eligible to work for this company.

Reporting to the Principal Design Manager, you'll collaborate with multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver extraordinary projects from inception to completion. We're looking for a talented individual who can transform design briefs into effective solutions, providing expertise across various asset streams. Your creativity and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you tackle medium-sized complex projects and work closely with stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and maintenance organisations.

The Role

You'll develop detailed Statements of Requirements, ensuring they align with the client's strategic and environmental objectives, including Net Zero Carbon initiatives. Your keen eye for detail will be vital in checking designs against regulations and standards, while also overseeing sub-contractor deliverables. Safety will be a top priority as you support the SHE department and prepare Safe to Operate statements. You'll also Support and advise the client regarding design elements, managing the quality of project handovers and ultimately play a vital supportive and senior role within the tea.

What do I need?

* Civil Engineering Degree

* At least 5 years relating Civil experience (infrastructures)

  • Knowledge of building regulations and British standards for civil works
  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction aspects of delivering major projects

* Excellent communication and influencing skills, enabling you to build strong relationships and convey complex concepts with ease.

* An ability to plan, prioritise, and adapt to unexpected challenges will set you apart.

* Be happy to actively mentor and support other engineers while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
