Job Description

My well respected and established client is currently searching for a Senior Support Worker to welcome on board and work for their Residential Children's Home based in Three Bridges, Crawley.

My client caters to Young People with Emotional Behaviour Disorders (EBD) and some forms of challenging behaviours.

The position of a Senior Support Worker will involve you using your previous experience in working with Young People in a Residential setting to successfully provide efficient leadership and care to allow the Young People to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. You will provide a positive and safe environment for the Young People and the rest of the team, ensuring they're listened to and supporting the Young People whilst progressing through adolescence.

My client is committed to providing a first-class service to the Young People, safeguarding their welfare and promoting a warm, fun-filled educational environment. They are continually improving the standard of residential therapeutic care available to the Young People whilst always adhering to their core values and Ofsted regulations

Being reliable, adaptable and resilient is key for this role as the Young People and your team members will be looking to you for guidance and support.

You will be supported and guided by the Home Registered Manager and support them to ensure the smooth running of the home.

You will need to be enrolled or hold an NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or have the equivalent qualification.

A driving licence is also desirable however not essential for this position.
