Job Description

Seeking a Superstar Senior Care Worker for a beautiful residential home in Hastings.

Do you have at least a years' experience working in a supervisory role in care or support work?

Want to work to for a well-respected Care home near to the Sea in East Sussex?

Then we are looking for you!

You would be working for a lovely, caring and friendly team.

Assisting the head of care in providing services to over 52 residents.

Managing and leading staff members and their care provisions.

Evaluating and updating residents care plans and ordering and dispensing medication.

The client takes a person-centred approach to elderly care with a 'home from home' ethos.

The residents enjoy trips to the beach and in the warmer month's places of culture.

There are regular activities inside and outside of the home, including arts and crafts, games, gentle exercise, gardening and coffee mornings. From quizzes to karaoke, from bingo to battleships… there's something for everyone!

The client aims to support residents in freedom of choice, privacy, dignity, respect, encouraging and enabling complete individuality.

The client ensures that staff are all well trained and experienced in providing the highest quality of care and support to residents.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Shifts: 36/42 hours per week including alternate weekends.

Salary £9.20/hour rising to £10.00phr after 3 months

To be considered for this role you will need:

Experience working in a care home

An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or the willingness to work towards level 3.

Current, valid driver's licence
