Job Description

Supported Living Service Manager

This is an excellent job for someone who is working towards or currently holds A Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma or equivalent.

I currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join a friendly, supportive and committed team working to support Adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviour and other complex needs. This lovely home is based in Woodingdean which is situated on the East side of Brighton a short way away from the hustle and bustle that the city has to offer.

Not only will you receive a generous starting salary of 26K you will also benefit from a 37.5-hour Monday to Friday work week as well as 30 days annual leave entitlement including bank holidays for a great work life balance! You will also be provided in house training and development will the opportunity to complete your level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma. You will also receive clinical support from the in-house PBS team, Paid DBS and extra pay for sleep-in shifts!

With your experience as a Service Manager, you will be using your natural managerial and leadership skills to ensure the day to day running of the home and ensuring the resident's needs are met while promoting their independence. Along with your knowledge of CQC Regulations you bear excellent communication skills that enable you to be in regular contact with professionals who support with the residents educational, occupational and leisure activities as well as working in partnership with other members of the management team and support workers to ensure the home meets best practice.

You understand and empathise with the challenges faced when working with adults with emotional and behavioural difficulties, learning disabilities and complex needs. You will be open to stepping in to meet the needs of the service in challenging situations which will utilize your natural resilience, benevolence and pro-activeness.
