Job Description

Have you had experience working within process manufacturing, i.e overseeing the production or handling of liquids, chemicals within a highly regulated environment? We seek a Shift Chemical Process Operator to join this facility near to Southampton, on a one year fixed term basis.

The role of a Chemical Process Operator will include taking responsibility of a given chemical manufacturing procedure, owning it and ensuring it is right first time. The role will involve overseeing the manufacturing of the chemical process, procedures, whilst always working safely, i.e. ensuring the operation of loading and offloading of chemicals is carried out in accordance to procedure.

The successful applicant will receive comprehensive on the job training, with competency testing conducted at specific intervals

What do I need?

You'll need to have a mechanical aptitude ideally from a mechanical apprenticeship or HNC for example. Ideally some experience within processing from within pharmaceutical, process or chemical industry would be great yet not essential. Excellent record keeping ability, attention to detail and above all a very high degree of integrity.

This position starts at £35,500 increasing to £38,500 on completion of full training
