Job Description

Shipping Coordinator - 6-month contract - Fantastic Global Company!

You would be working for a company who are the world leader in their field with a turnover of £19 Billion! Your role will be to assist the shipping team at the Titchfield site to ensure the timely processing of shipments in accordance with the company policies and procedures as well as in compliance with UK Shipping and Export requirements.

What you will be doing -

Your role will involve processing Pre-Shippers and Shippers in the ERP system in a timely manner. You will book shipments with designated couriers/freight forwarders, ensuring all documentation complies with policies, procedures and company quality. You will register EU shipments on a Standard Individual Export License with HM Customs and raise dangerous goods notes when trained.

As well as the above you will be ensuring all Shipments and Shipping documentation comply with Export license requirements and confirming Shipments in the ERP system once they have been dispatched.

Any customer queries and updates will be dealt with by you for stakeholders on request which can include Military shipping release documentation and working on external customer portals.

What we need from you -

  • Experience in a similar role within imports & exports (not essential)
  • Strong Administrative experience
  • Excellent attention to deal
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office user (Excel, Word)

The hours for the role are 9am - 6pm Monday - Thursday and 9am -1pm on Friday. You will be required to be flexible on month end. Some of the company benefits include -
