Shop Floor Manager

Our client is a Sub-Contracting Machine Shop working across multiple industries. We're looking for a Shop Floor Manager who has extensive experience in running teams, dealing with schedules, organising + planning, ensuring workloads are maximised and that staff are conducting this as efficiently as possible to reach the correct deadlines on time. You will need to ensure staff morale is high and health and safety is being adhered to. As manager, you will be over-seeing all staff on the shop floor, making sure everyone is working well together, all work is flowing in each section of the factory as it should be, prioritising work correctly. Liaising with internal departments, you must ensure workloads are being completed on-time.

The package: You will be working 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday with an earlier finish on a Friday seeing you finish up around midday. This role is paying up to £41,600 depending on experience. What do you need?

• Previous leadership/management experience is a must have.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing/production is required.
• Any previous experience with CNC Machining will be advantageous.
• Strong stern attitude and willingness to handle difficult conversations.
• The ability to have different work across different industries each day.
• Being able to maintain morale levels and ensure all staff is being efficient.
