Job Description

Do you have experience managing a team within a manufacturing and production facility? Do you have experience driving improvements and success? If so, then this role could be for you!

This role is for a Shop Floor Manager based in Havant. The hours for this role are regular working hours, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, with an earlier finish on a Friday. The role is also paying a salary of up to £41,600 dependant on experience.

This role will see the successful candidate managing the shop floor, being responsible for the work and the staff. This means that it is their job to ensure everything runs accordingly and in cooperation with the company procedures. This means being the point of contact and support for staff, managing performance and ensuring success and efficiency. This includes motivating and inspiring the staff. They will also be required to carry out relevant paperwork and be expected to liaise with other departments to ensure everyone is effectively communicated with. This allows orders, shipments and workload to be managed in accordance with each other. This all helps to ensure work is completed on time. Complying with health and safety and company policies is also expected.

You will need:

• Experience managing a team within a production or manufacturing facility

• Experience liaising with different departments to drive success

• Experience in CNC environments is also desirable

• A Keen eye to detail and excellent communication skills

• To show flexibility and be able to perform in high pressure environments

• To be willing to support and motivate staff as and when needed
