Are you an experienced Body Shop Manager who is looking for their next role?
We are recruiting for Site Manager, for the Ashford site to join our driven and well-established auto repair company.
You will be working alongside a dedicated, enthusiastic and hard-working team who pride themselves on exceeding customer expectations.
What will you be doing?
The role will require you to ensure the productivity of the workshop, administrative systems, managing all procedures and records whilst maintaining a high level of quality. Essentially you will drive the site to meet productivity targets whilst ensuring there is minimal rework, quality standards are maintained and all required documentation including check sheets are completed comprehensively.
In addition to this, the role also requires all insurance company requirements are adhered to, with all statutory requirements being fulfilled by operators such as health and safety and COSHH.
You will be the communication link to the Area Manager, ensuring all constrains on productivity and maintenance are reported back accordingly.

They will offer you 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays, and benefits such as a pension scheme, Christmas parties and a salary of £40K, with profit share.

You should have experience and skills in the following:
- Experience in vehicle damage assessment
- Highly developed technical understanding of modern vehicle shop operations
- People Management skills
- Determination to deliver and exceed through continuous improvement in people and process within your team
- Clear communication skills
- Strong numerical and effective organisational skills
As a person, you will be a team player who is adaptable and tenacious with the resilience required to achieve the best results for your site, taking responsibility for your own actions.
You will be able to use initiative with a can do and flexible attitude, with an innovative approach to problem solving. The company culture and organisational insight will be something you take pride in along with getting the best from your team.
