Job Description

Speech and Language Therapist
I am currently recruiting for a full/part-time SALT therapist on a permanent fixed term basis (covering maternity leave).
Your role as a Speech and Language Therapist will be to provide high quality assessments and therapy to children and young people, aged 11-19, with high functioning Autism and other learning disabilities. You will be working in a bespoke specialist school tailored to the needs of the pupils in the beautiful Hassocks surroundings.

You will work alongside a very supportive therapy team, made up of a school nurse, an OT and the School Head. Furthermore, you will also liaise with teachers and teaching assistants in order to provide the best options for the Young People.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

A degree or diploma recognised by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists,
Registration of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, and
HCPC registration

The ideal candidate will need to be one-year post qualification and have relevant experience working with Young People in the Autistic spectrum, this will put you in the forefront of the shortlisting process.
