We seek a capable professional to become a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer working as part of a multi-talented Global team to develop working relationships with Tier II and below supply base, product development, purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
Your experience in supporting the resolution of supplier component related problems will be used, including yield issues and failure analysis, as well as more responsibility for cost improvements with the suppliers.

Sounds great, so what do I need? This company pride themselves on their support and training and as a result have a high employee retention level. Naturally they seek positive, enthusiasts and driven engineers to join them, character, capacity and professionalism is key. You'll need to have gained experience working closely within production/manufacturing environments. Ideally holding certification in Engineering i.e a HNC, or NVQ level 4 or above. A strong focus on continuous Improvement and knowledge Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP) and Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) are beneficial.
What else will I be accountable for? Assisting suppliers in manufacturing process design, support and validation for products, assisting product development in component design and technology development. From here you would use your skills to budget all projects, ensuring maximum efficiency in regards to time, cost, durability and standards.
Part of this role will involve travel across the UK and Europe, so as part of the package a company car would be supplied for you.
