Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer seeking an exciting new opportunity? If you have a background in Electronics, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Defence or Space, this role is perfect for you!

This Supplier Quality Engineer role is working for an Electronics Manufacturer in Andover. The working hours are 8:30 - 5pm Monday to Thursday, with an earlier finish of 3:30pm on a Friday! The role is also paying up to £50,000 depending on experience.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in championing the quality strategy. Your mission is to lead the charge in initiating, enabling, supporting, verifying, and nurturing this strategy. You'll be the go-to expert for suppliers when it comes to all things related to product quality. This includes crucial tasks like the initial release of products, handling product returns, addressing complaints, fulfilling requests for additional product data, managing concerns, overseeing audits, and responding to general inquiries. Your expertise will encompass a wide range of materials, subassemblies, and components provided by the valued suppliers.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of securing and enhancing the quality management system, setting the standard for impeccable documentation practices in compliance with ISO 9001, AS 9100, and ISO 13485. Your communication skills will shine through clear and concise reporting, and you'll be the anchor in the supplier relations, managing complaints, and product returns, all while evaluating their financial impact. Your discerning eye for quality will be instrumental as you analyse manufacturing rejects and communicate effectively with suppliers. Additionally, you'll drive change management, develop quality strategies for new materials, conduct supplier audits, and contribute your expertise to engineering and R&D projects. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, you'll monitor supplier performance, ensure consistency in product specifications, and confidently authorize goods for release.

You will need:

• Preferred bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of quality management experience in industrial manufacturing and product development, with a focus on medical, automotive, aeronautics, or space industries.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, AS 9100, and relevant standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Demonstrable organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Practical engineering knowledge.
• Experience in using quality tools like DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans for New Production Introduction.
