Job Description

Support Worker

Are you looking for a role that gives you a real sense of fulfilment and the satisfaction that other roles won't give? Then keep reading!

I am currently recruiting for full and part time experienced Support Workers to support vulnerable adults with Learning Disabilities across Brighton and outskirts, as well as some Worthing areas.

As well as a competitive starting salary, you will also receive 28 days annual leave allowance (including Bank Holidays, pro-rata for part time positions), join the company pension scheme and be given the amazing opportunities to further your training. To enhance your earnings, you will receive a sleep-in allowance paid at £68.75 per sleep in (not all roles require you to sleep in), an overtime enhancement to thank you for your support to the service and its clients.

Your development is a top priority, as there is scope for you to complete your Health & Social Care Diploma's Level 2, 3 and 5 and best of all you do not have to pay for your enhanced DBS, the cost is covered!

You will be working with adults who live in Supported Living Schemes and support them with their independence and all matters of their day-to-day living. Your hands on approach will get the most out of the residents and ensure they feel a real sense of achievement, no matter how small the task you are supporting them with is. Some of the residents may have or use communication tools/passports to communicate their needs, no need to worry as you will receive a full induction and skills such as Makaton will be welcomed to the team. Having a valid full UK driving license is key for these roles.

If you are looking for a role that will make you go home at the end of your shift knowing that you have helped vulnerable people achieve as much independence as they can, while promoting their choices, advocating for their rights, and, making them smile because of your warm and friendly approach then this is the role for you.
