Learning disability service based in Patcham, Brighton specialising in supporting young people with varying levels of autism is currently recruiting to support worker vacancies.
You will be working for a reputable local provider of support services for adults with learning disabilities. This is a rapidly expanding family run firm who place great value on the quality of support they provide. Their relationships with their staff team is also greatly valued.
Based in a supported living service in Patcham you will be part of a fantastic team who are responsible for supporting adults with learning disabilities. Your responsibilities will include: Being a key worker to individual service users, supporting people with access to social activities, promoting independence & choice, accompanying service users to appointments, providing support with general day to day tasks and demonstrating respect for service users personal wishes and choices.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and committed individual who genuinely wants to make a difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities. You will also be friendly, approachable and patient. This role is full time and is the shifts work on a rota system so you will need to have flexible availability to work.
