Team Leader
I am currently recruiting for a Team Leader role for my client who specializes in supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities. The service is located in Brighton and has very close links to public transport. My client provides excellent person-centered approach to its vulnerable service users, supports them in achieving their goals and enables them to live a fulfilling life, despite their disability.

As a Team Leader you will support the Registered and Deputy Manager in the smooth running of the service. You will be a key player and a point of guidance in their absence. You will use your leadership skills in order to supervise, mentor, and lead the staff team, while ensuring their performance and practice is in line with company values. Part of your role will be to ensure the team are caring and respecting the service users dignity, rights, wishes, and involving them in every aspect of their care and decisions.

The service itself is a lovely home that has been converted and renovated to support the needs of the service users. Each service user has their own en-suite facilities. The team are warm and caring, ensuring the needs of the service users are met abd wishes respected, while Safeguarding them.

The ideal candidate will need to have an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, be in a previous/current Team Leader or Senior Support Worker role whereby they have supervised staff in a Learning Disability environment.
