Do you have a mechanical engineering degree? Would you like to move into the procurement/supply chain part of an always growing, highly reputable engineering business? If so, keep reading! We are looking for an experienced individual with sound technical knowledge across mechanical engineering. If this sounds like you and you are wanting to move into the Supply Chain/Procurement industry then hit apply for this role!

What will I be doing?
With a good amount of technical mechanical engineering experience, you will be expected to establish and maintain a high performing supply chain. Joining a team of 3, you will be expected to have a tenacious attitude in order to be able to source products, negotiate prices, working within budgets and meeting the time expectations of the customer's requests. Supporting existing and new projects, you must be able to be ensure the delivery, technical and commercial specifications are all met with a high level of quality.

What do I need?

  • Mechanical Degree required.
  • Buyer/Procurement experience preferred but not necessary if technical knowledge is established enough.
  • The desire and want to move into the supply chain part of a business.
  • Great communication skills in order to be liaise internally and externally to peers and customers. Keeping everyone in the loop and working to strict deadlines.
  • Previous experience across ERP/MRP systems.
  • The ability to remain self-motivated with a tenacious attitude.
