We're recruiting for a Technical Support professional to provide support and advice across all products produced by a manufacturing company in Brighton.
This company manufacture technical products so the right candidate will need to hold some form of engineering certification and have accumulated some good experience already providing technical support, or, having gained experience in a technical sales role.
So tell me more about the role? Paying up to £25000, this is a role offering variety and exceptional progression opportunities to aim for as this site is part of a larger group. If you succeed well then roles in more complex support positions can be won or you could look to take on more engineering centric or sales opportunities.
In this role you will not only support customers but also sister sites, distributors and sales teams. You'll ensure product manuals are up to date, work with R&D and customers to correctly identify and verify issues, assist with complaints, occasionally visit customers and also upsell at appropriate times.
As a support role you will have a high level of English language skill, excellent Microsoft Office skills and be able to utilise these to be a strong communicator and an effective Technical Support professional reporting into the Team Leader.
So what do I need? Previous or current experience in a similar technical support or sales position. You'll need to also have some form of engineering certification and have a clean driving licence as this role will include occasional visits to customers.
