Job Description

Do you have experience testing electrical equipment? Do you have experience working in a manufacturing environment? If so, then this role could be for you!

This role is based in Southampton and offering a range of hours. The three shift patterns available are days, nights and lates. The day shifts are 7:30am - 3:30pm and pay £23,500. The late shifts are 3:15pm - 11:15pm and pay £27,730. The night shifts are 11pm - 7am and pay £30,550.

This role is working for a collaborative, innovative photonic and laser manufacturer based in Southampton. They manufacture equipment for a wide range of industries from automotive to military to medical. The successful candidate will have a number of responsibilities within this role such as assembly, calibration and test of equipment, to work with engineers to support productivity and process development. The successful candidate will also be required to complete supporting paperwork. Flexibility is also an important attribute within this role when dealing with customer requests and changes in schedule and delivery times.

You will need:

• Experience as an Electrical Assembler

• Experience within a manufacturing environment (preferably cleanroom)

• To have ideally used equipment such as oscilloscopes and power meters

• A keen eye for detail

• The ability to be flexible with time and procedures

• A good level IT Skills
