Job Description

We are recruiting for an exciting position at a leading Environmental Solutions company in Brighton.

We are looking for a Traffic Controller to join the team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for instructing drivers of vehicles entering and leaving the waste disposal areas, as well as liaising with site personnel to ensure good Health and Safety procedures and efficient service.

There will also be duties from other areas of operations including the Materials Recovery Facility, Waste Transfer Station and supporting the Leadership Team. And, completing daily site inspections and fire watch duties.

Desirable skills:

Weighbridge experience

Experience operating forklifts, excavators, loading shovels

Good communication skills

Good IT Skills (Word processing, spreadsheets etc).

You will work to a shift system which includes evenings, bank holidays and weekend working.

8.5 hour shifts. 0.5 hour unpaid break.

4 Early Shifts, 2 off, 4 Late Shifts, 2 off. All shifts are within site operational time (6:00am - 22:00pm).
