Your role will involve you assisting the Procurement team and Project Management with marking up drawings, issuing tenders and supporting all teams. You will assist in the preparation of the formal tenders and quotations to customers, ensuring formal quotations and tenders are complaint with the technical specifications. You will check the scope of works and costings have been reconciled and formally agreed and that contract terms and conditions are acceptable to the company.

What you will be doing:
You will coordinate with Technical Design to ensure that the Technical specification if compliant and approved, as well as coordinating with the Sales Person/Project Manager to ensure the scope of works are agreed and fill incorporated into the quotation. You will reconcile all current costings and coordinate with Commercial to ensure that the T&C's which the bid is submitted under are acceptable.
The role will include preparing and implementing check lists for technical submission, scope of works, attendances and preliminaries. Assisting the Bid Team Leader in maintaining the quotation bank, you will ensure that all quotations are up to date and accurate.
You will also assist the Supply Chain Buyer in the preparation of sub contract and supply tenders/enquiries as well as the preparation of purchase orders and any other general assistance needed.
As well as the above you will learn how to obtain quotes from key suppliers and sub-contractors, reviewing a validating each to ensure scope and specification is compliant as well as reviewing drawings and technical documents before preparing estimates alongside the Bid, Procurement and Sales teams
What do they want from you?
- Experience with Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel).
- Administrative and some financial duties within a similar environment.
- Knowledge of an MRP system.
- Excellent attention to detail
