TRAINEE GRINDER EDM ROLE ON!!!

Want to build upon your machine shop experience and learn how to become an expert on an EDM Machine and enhance your grinding skills? This permanent role in Havant is working at a well established machining company who are just one of a few companies in the world who make their particular product. They have long standing customers, are a very humble, hardworking and great bunch of professionals to learn from and work with day to day!

You'll be partnered up with an EDM expert who will be retiring, this is a chance for you to take onboard all of his knowledge, a very unique opportunity to master there Fanuc Alpha 1iB Wire Erdoer!!

You will also spend some time in other areas learning more about machining operations, particularly in grinding.

Our client offers a very flexible and family orientated working environment. This would suit a someone looking for a hands on position, to get their head down, learn and have a great work life balance.

Working Monday-Thurs 7am-3:30pm and 7:30am-3pm on a Friday. They will pay up to £26,600 yet this could be more depending upon your experience. Benefits include 31 days holiday inclusive of Christmas shut down and bank holidays, pension contributions, but best of all an honest way to live and learn.

What do you need?

• Some good general machine shop experience already - Grinding, machining, perhaps exposure to a Wire Eroder
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls would be ideal
• Hardworking with an open mind to learning
• Excellent Communication skills
• Able to commute to Havant day to day
