Entry Level Engineering role on in Segensworth near to Fareham for an Aerospace Manufacturer!! FULL TRAINING!!
We have an exceptionally exciting role, to start your career within Engineering, within a busy, well invested machine shop where this company design and manufacture parts that are used in our global aerospace industry!!
As an entry level role they will pay you £10 per hour, the equivalent to a salary of £19760. This company will also offer you 5 weeks of holiday, a 12.30pm finish on Fridays, offer you a unique benefits card granting you reductions at various supermarkets and retailers and they can also contribute up to 7% of your salary into a pension - superb benefits! Where they are also a very busy machines shop there would be overtime available to earn a fair bit more money, if applicable.

As an entry level role FULL TRAINING will be given to you. The role will initially involve working with the Finishing team, these are a team of 9 skilled professionals who ensure every made part is perfect using state of the art equipment such as tools to review at x20 magnification!
In time you'll then learn Inspection, how to read and interpret an Engineering drawing and learning measuring techniques including using CMM and Optical Measuring Machines,
As you progress your career you can learn all about their CNC machines which include CNC Lathes, Milling machines and Sliding Head machines. You'll gain a fantastic comprehension of what equipment it takes to make state of the art aerospace products.
So what do I need??
- The right candidate will have a real hunger and desire to start their career within engineering.
- You'll ideally have some form or relating subject certification to do with engineering, perhaps a relating apprenticeship, or A levels in maths, science, technology etc, yet this isn't essential.
- A dynamic mindset, willing to learn, work hard and really get stuck in!
- Have currently eligibility to work within the UK
