Entry Level Engineering role on in Segensworth near to Fareham for an Aerospace Manufacturer!! FULL TRAINING GIVEN!!
We have a really exciting hands on role, to kick start your career within Aerospace Engineering, within a busy, well invested machine shop where this company design and manufacture parts that are used in our global aerospace industry!!
As an entry level role they will pay you £10.25 per hour, working 37.5 hours a week the equivalent to a salary of £19,987. This company will also offer you 5 weeks of holiday, a half day finish on Fridays, offer you a unique benefits card granting you reductions at various supermarkets and retailers and they can also contribute up to 7% of your salary into a pension - superb benefits! Where they are also a very busy machines shop there would be overtime available to earn a fair bit more money if you wished.

As an entry level role FULL TRAINING will be given to you. The role will involve working with the Finishing team, these are a team of 9 skilled aerospace professionals who ensure every part made is perfect using state of the art equipment such as tools reviewing at x20 magnification!
In time you'll be able to grasp other concepts within the machine shop, learning to read and interpret Engineering drawings, learning measuring techniques used in Inspection - yet fundamentally this is a role to become a skilled Aerospace Trainee Finisher.
This is a very hands-on engineering role, it isn't appropriate for fresh grads who seek hands off engineering roles moving forwards. If you've always been a hands-on practical person who is excited by the chance to work closely with technical machinery then get in touch now as interviews will be held swiftly!
So what do I need??
- The right candidate will have a real hunger and desire to start/or continue their career within engineering.
- You'll ideally have some form or relating subject certification to do with engineering, perhaps a relating apprenticeship, or A levels in maths, science, technology etc, yet this isn't essential.
- A dynamic mindset, willing to learn, work hard and really get stuck in!
- Have currently eligibility to work within the UK
- Own transport to feasibly get to site each day
