Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join one of our enthusiastic, driven and multi skilled teams in one of the well-established sites within the company, all based in the South of England.

You will be working within a dedicated, enthusiastic and hard-working team who prides themselves on exceeding customer expectations.

What about the company?

The company which you will be working for is a leader in the field of vehicle repair. The will off you 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays, and benefits such as a pension scheme, Christmas parties and a salary of up to £38K, dependent on experience. The role offers flexible working hours equating to 45 hours per week, with the option to work from home for a number of days each week.

What will you be doing?

The role will require you to ensure that all costs for each repair are estimated efficiently and profitably, with invoices being produced to meet all required SLA detailed by the company. You will be responsible for cost control so maintaining effective control of cost estimation inline with budget objectives, and ensuring that exceptional customer service is provided at all times. The role is predominantly based at your local site; however, you must be willing to travel to either the Portsmouth or Redhill site 1-2 times a week.

So, are you right for the role?

As a person, you will be a motivated and professional engineer with a positive attitude, able to deliver the required financial performance with good negotiation skills. Alongside having technical experience and estimating skills, you will have knowledge and experience of the following:

  • Body and paint repair in the retail Accident and Repair industry.
  • Current estimating systems. i.e. Audatex, Glassmatix
  • E-scribe, Glass's evaluator, Ezi methods or other

You will also be Audatex Gold trained, and if required you would need to attain ATA accreditation if required by the company.
